The BP PLC (BP)-led Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline exported 22.1 million metric tons of Azeri and Kazakh oil in the first seven months of 2009, up 5.7% from the same period last year, Azerbaijan's state oil company Socar said Monday.

The majority of oil shipped through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline comes from Azerbaijan's Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli offshore field in the Caspian Sea.

One million tons of oil from Kazakhstan's Tengiz field was shipped through the pipeline in the seven month period, Socar said.
