Plaintree Systems Inc. (CNSX: NPT), today announced that its Triodetic division has received a USD $1.3 million contract for the engineering and manufacture of an architectural structure for the downtown core of a major US city that will also double as a supporting frame for solar panels. The bulk of the work on the project is expected in the 3rd Quarter of fiscal 2010.

David Watson, CEO of Plaintree, says that “This structure is a beautiful, flowing organic shape that is largely possible due to the advanced software and production process developed by Triodetic.
