Engie SA said Tuesday that it will provide energy solutions to Faurecia SE in order to help the French automotive supplier save energy and reach its sustainability goals.

"Under this partnership, ENGIE...will provide energy solutions to be deployed across [more than] 100 Faurecia sites worldwide by mid-2022," French utility company Engie said.

Faurecia is committed to reaching CO2 neutrality for its scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2025, it said. Scope 1 covers emissions directly coming from owned or controlled sources and scope 2 includes indirect emissions from the generation of purchased energy.

Engie didn't specify financial details.
