AYRO, Inc. (”AYRO” or the “Company”), a designer and
manufacturer of purpose-built compact, light-duty emissions-free
electric vehicles for urban, commercial, consumer and government
markets, announces the Company’s first vehicle deliveries of its
Club Car 411 to Canada and Mexico through its strategic partnership
with Club Car, Inc. (“Club Car”).
The all-electric Club Car 411 utility trucks are the first
AYRO-built sustainable vehicles to be exported to both countries
bordering the U.S. With the new USMCA trade agreement in place, the
potentially lucrative Canadian and Mexico markets are opening up,
which may benefit U.S.-made vehicles like the Club Car 411 electric
truck. With the new agreement, “Made in the U.S.” products,
including light-duty electric vehicles, should be well positioned
to increase market share throughout North America.
“With new international deliveries beginning and a global low
speed electric vehicle (“LSEV”) market predicted to reach 23.9
billion by 2026 according to Navigant Research, AYRO’s strategic
relationship with Club Car makes it possible for our purpose-built
electric fleet vehicles to reach beyond the U.S. market and into
Canada and Mexico,” said Rod Keller, CEO of AYRO. “With its ability
to reduce operating expenses by 49% and Co2 emissions by 44%
compared to comparable gas powered vehicles, the Club Car 411
should make it easier for these countries to achieve their
sustainability goals for carbon reduction, urban congestion and
cost-effective electric last mile vehicles.”
AYRO’s other all-electric vehicle, the AYRO 311 autocycle, is
also expected to be marketed to Canada and Mexico fleet
opportunities for larger radius delivery and promotional
applications. With a top speed of up to 80 km/h (50 mph), AYRO
management anticipates that the AYRO 311 may provide an attractive
alternative to gas powered vehicles, particularly with respect to
restaurant delivery.
AYRO management additionally views the AYRO 311 as a potential
solution for urban and suburban customers looking to reduce
operating costs while at the same time offering AYRO opportunities
to enhance brand exposure through the AYRO 311’s distinct 3-wheeled
design.
