Once again, stores in the West and in the Ohio Valley led the Company's sales performance, while stores in the Southeast experienced the weakest trends. No new stores opened and three stores closed during July. There were 270 stores in operation at August 1, 2009 as compared to 283 at the same time last year. Second Quarter Results Full financial results for the second quarter ended August 1, 2009 will be reported before the U.S. financial markets open on Thursday, August 20, 2009.
