International Steel Group Inc. Sets Record Date for Special
Shareholders Meeting RICHFIELD, Ohio, Feb. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/

February 11, 2005 as the record date for determining shareholders
entitled to vote at the special meeting to be held to consider the
proposed merger of International Steel Group Inc. and Mittal Steel
Company N.V., formerly known as Ispat International N.V. The date
and location of the special meeting will be announced when
determined. The transaction is expected to close by the end of the
first quarter of 2005. International Steel Group Inc. is one of the
largest steel producers in North America. It ships a variety of
steel products from 13 major steel producing and finishing
facilities in eight states, including hot-rolled, cold-rolled and
coated sheets, tin mill products, carbon and alloy plates, rail
