AGC, OLA, TYW and Certain Claymore-Advised ETFs Announce Results of Reconvened Special Meeting of Shareholders

Advent/Claymore Global Convertible Securities & Income Fund
(“AGC”), Old Mutual/Claymore Long-Short Fund (“OLA”),
TS&W/Claymore Tax-Advantaged Balanced Fund (“TYW”) and the
Claymore-advised exchange-traded funds listed below (the “ETFs”
and, collectively with AGC, OLA and TYW, the “Funds”) are pleased
to announce that the proposals applicable to each of the Funds and
listed below received necessary shareholder approval at the
reconvened Joint Special Meetings of Shareholders held on February
18, 2010. Specifically:
- For AGC, shareholders approved a
new investment advisory agreement between AGC and Claymore
Advisors, LLC (“Claymore”).
- For OLA, shareholders approved a
new investment advisory agreement between OLA and Claymore and a
new investment sub-advisory agreement among OLA, Claymore, and
Analytic Investors LLC (“Analytic”).
- For TYW, shareholders approved a
new investment advisory agreement between TYW and Claymore and
approved (i) a new investment sub-advisory agreement among TYW,
Claymore and Thompson, Siegel & Walmsley LLC (“TS&W”); and
(ii) a new investment sub-advisory agreement among TYW, Claymore
and SMC Fixed Income Management, LP (“SMC”).
- For Claymore/Ocean Tomo Growth
Index ETF (“OTR”) and Claymore/Zacks Sector Rotation ETF (“XRO”)
shareholders approved a new investment advisory agreement between
Claymore Exchange-Traded Fund Trust, on behalf of each ETF.
- For Claymore S&P Global
Water Index ETF (“CGW”), Claymore/SWM Canadian Energy Income Index
ETF (“ENY”) and Claymore/Beacon Global Exchanges, Brokers &
Asset Managers Index ETF (“EXB”) shareholders of each ETF approved
a new investment advisory agreement between Claymore and Claymore
Exchange-Traded Fund Trust 2, on behalf of each ETF.
AGC entered into a new investment advisory agreement with
Claymore. OLA entered into a new investment advisory agreement with
Claymore and a new investment sub-advisory agreement with Claymore
and Analytic. TYW entered into a new investment advisory agreement
with Claymore, a new investment sub-advisory agreement with
Claymore and TS&W, and a new investment sub-advisory agreement
with Claymore and SMC. Claymore Exchange-Traded Fund Trust, on
behalf of OTR and XRO, entered into a new investment advisory
agreement with Claymore. Claymore Exchange-Traded Fund Trust 2, on
behalf of CGW, ENY and EXB, entered into a new investment advisory
agreement with Claymore. Each such agreement above became effective
upon the date of shareholder approval.
