Passenger traffic
In August 2010, passenger traffic at Aéroports de Paris
(Paris:ADP) (Pink Sheets:AEOPF) increased by 1.4% compared to
August 2009. The Paris airports handled a total of 8.2 million
passengers, 5.8 million of them at Paris-Charles de Gaulle
(+1.9%) and 2.4 million at Paris-Orly (unchanged).
- International traffic (excluding
Europe) remains stable at +0.1%. The Middle East grew by 6.9%,
North America by 1.7% and the French Overseas Territories by 1.0%.
Latin America dropped by 4.5%, Africa by 2.8% and Asia-Pacific by
0.1%.
- European traffic (excluding
France) grew by 3.5% thanks to the Schengen area which increased by
4.1%. The combined Great Britain and Ireland market dropped by
1.6%.
- Traffic within metropolitan
France dropped by 0.8%.
- The number of connecting
passengers decreased by 6.2%, resulting in a connecting rate of
23.7% (against 25.4% in August 2009).
For the first eight months of the year, passenger traffic
decreased by 0.8% against the same period in 2009. The number of
passengers in connecting declined by 5.9%, resulting in a
connecting rate of 23.0% (against 24.2% for the first eight months
of 2009).

1 April 2009.
Aircraft movements
The number of aircraft movements increased slightly by 0.3% in
August 2010 year on year (with +0.5% at Paris-Charles de Gaulle and
-0.2% at Paris-Orly). For the first eight months of the year, the
number of aircraft movements fell by 5.4%.

compared with 80.6% in August 2009.
