In response to speculation in the market including press comments, shareholders
should note that the Board is actively pursuing a number of new gold ventures in
Africa.

A detailed announcement will be made when due diligence is completed.

We are also considering how best to structure the Board and Management to take
advantage of the skills, experience and contacts of our Directors as well as to
capitalise on the available opportunities.
