Coupon Convertible Unsecured Subordinated Loan Stock 2003/2006  were converted
into 259,475 Ordinary shares of 12.5p per share.  259,475 Ordinary shares were
allotted on 1 October 2003 and application is today being made for the listing
of these shares on the Official List.

There are now no outstanding units of Zero Coupon Convertible Unsecured
Subordinated Loan Stock 2003/2006.
