                        Appointment of Executive Chairman
                                        


MOS International PLC ("MOS"), the oilfield services company, announces that,
Philip Wood has been appointed Executive Chairman with immediate effect.


This appointment completes the restructuring of The Board.



Brent Fitzpatrick, Non-executive Director commented:


"The appointment of Philip gives the Board leadership and his background in the
industry will be useful in determining the focus of the Group going forward. The
current level of enquiries is significantly ahead of this time last year, and
now that Brendan Larkin, the former CEO, is concentrating on marketing, the
Board expects this trend to continue. In addition, the market itself is showing
signs of improvement, which will further help the Company achieve its target
growth.


"Philip, as well as overseeing the day to day running of the Group, will play an
active role in the positioning of MOS's products and his extensive international
contacts will allow us to develop new markets, particularly those in South
America and the Middle East."


Philip Wood, Executive Chairman stated:


"I have joined MOS following a difficult time for the Company and only accepted
the position of Executive Chairman having reviewed the situation with a critical
eye. I have come fresh to MOS, although I do have detailed knowledge of the
industry having been involved in it for a number of years, and am pleasantly
surprised by the spirit within the team and their determination to rebuild the
business. The Board is confident regarding the prospects of MOS although to
achieve success it will entail hard work and continued commitment. I believe
that we can deliver."
