Beth Kahn Named Head of License Exempt Products for P-Com P-Com
Expands Senior Management Team CAMPBELL, Calif., April 22

worldwide provider of wireless telecom products and services, today
announced that Beth Kahn, a business executive with 20 years of
telecommunications and network experience, has been appointed Vice
President, License Exempt Products. Kahn is responsible for all
sales and marketing of P-Com's license exempt products and will
oversee sales teams in the U.S. and abroad. Kahn reports to P-Com
President and CEO Sam Smookler. "Beth Kahn is an outstanding
executive who will play a key role in aggressively marketing our
products and services and in expanding our relationships with
distribution partners," Smookler said. "Beth has a long track
record of success in the telecom industry, and she will be a

P-Com, Kahn was Chief Operating Officer at Advanced Network
Information, a technical and sales skills training company in San
Jose. Before that, she was Vice President and General Manager at
DMC Stratex Networks in San Jose, where she managed the
profitability of three different product lines. Prior to that, Kahn
held several director positions in manufacturing, marketing,
development and business operations at Lucent
Technologies/AT&T, in Massachusetts, Texas and New Jersey.
Earlier in her career, Kahn spent six years at Bell Laboratories in
the Microelectronics Business supporting digital radio, secure
telephony and multi-chip module products. Kahn has a Master's of
Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts
Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts and a
Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the
