                        Purchase of Shares by a director

On 5 November, Compel Group PLC ("Compel" or the "Company") was informed that K
Slatford, a non-executive director of Compel, had that day, acquired 4,400
ordinary 5p shares in the Company at a price of 75p each. These shares have been
acquired as part of her remuneration in accordance with the terms of her
appointment.

Following this announcement, K Slatford has an interest in 17,387 shares in the
Company, representing approximately 0.056% per cent of the issued share capital
of the Company.
