GENEVA, Switzerland, May 27, 2014 /CNW/ - The HbbTV Association, a global initiative dedicated to providing an open standard for the delivery of broadcast and broadband services through connected TVs and set-top boxes, is pleased to announce the "HbbTV Symposium: Asia". It will be the largest HbbTV conference in Asia and is to take place on June 18th, 2014 at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel, Singapore during the Broadcast Asia and CommunicAsia 2014 tradeshows.

"HbbTV Symposium: Asia" will feature industry leaders from suppliers, operators and broadcasters who will review the latest developments and approaches to designing, building, and launching successful HbbTV services. Attendees will develop broad HbbTV insights through their engagement with expert presentations and panels. They will be able to leverage this knowledge to develop and apply advanced hybrid TV strategies.
