NorthWest Copper Corp. (“NorthWest” or “the Company”) (TSX-V: NWST) (OTCQX: NWCCF) today confirmed that it has received notice from a shareholder, pursuant to the Company’s advance notice provisions, of its intention to propose a slate of six dissident nominees for the Company’s Board of Directors at this year’s annual general meeting of shareholders.

The Company is reviewing the submission and will respond in due course. In the meantime, there is no need for shareholders to take any action.
