Brewer SABMiller PLC (SAB.LN) Wednesday reported the closing of the transaction to form a strategic alliance with Anadolu Group and Anadolu Efes (AEFES.IS) for Turkey, Russia, the CIS, Central Asia and the Middle East.

MAIN FACTS:

-SABMiller now has a 24% equity interest in Anadolu Efes.

-Shares of SABMiller at 1019 GMT up 10 pence, or 0.4%, at GBP26.70.
