Addressing the company’s successes of 2014, and looking ahead to
reaching its ambitious set of goals for the upcoming year,
Aristocrat Group Corp. (OTCBB:ASCC) CEO Robert Federowicz issued an
open letter to shareholders today:
Dear Shareholders,
Exactly one year ago Luxuria Brands, through its subsidiary Top
Shelf Distributing, launched our first distilled spirit, RWB
Ultra-Premium Handcrafted Vodka. At that time we were fully aware
of the challenges ahead that included a hyper-competitive vodka
segment and a plethora of regulatory obstacles. We knew that in
order to stand out in the $5.6 billion U.S. vodka market, we needed
to have a product that was of the highest quality and stood apart
from the myriad of domestic and imported vodka brands that have
saturated the space.
Today, one year into the project, we can say with absolute
certainty that we have succeeded. By making the decision to produce
an American-made, potato-based vodka, we have entered a playing
field shared by only a handful of domestic brands and select
European imports.
Being sourced from potatoes, RWB Vodka was also the first
American brand to be allowed to carry the “Gluten-Free” designation
on the bottle label. This instantly attracted the attention of
consumers who for health reasons were searching out products that
fit their needs. Another key element to RWB Vodka’s early success
is the drinkability factor; the superior quality of our product has
been confirmed by independent judges of 17 distilled spirits
competitions in the U.S. and abroad, where RWB Vodka was awarded
top scores. But the accolades are also coming from the local
community.
Early last year, prestigious luxury retailer Saks Fifth Avenue
Houston selected RWB Vodka as the exclusive distilled spirit for
all of its charity galas. Partnerships such as these serve to grow
the RWB Vodka brand and ensure we reach our target demographics.
Throughout the year, RWB Vodka appeared at numerous high-profile
events, including the Houston Whiskey Festival, the Houston
Symphony’s Annual Gala, the Mercury Royale Gala and the 28th Annual
CAP Gala. RWB Vodka also had a presence at a popular event at the
Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
As with any new product to hit the market, we targeted maximum
exposure of our brand. We immediately identified the visibility
offered by the professional sports world, more specifically the
auto racing industry. Since its launch, RWB Vodka was visible on
the professional racing circuit as a title sponsor of an LMP-2
(LeMans Prototype) race car. RWB Vodka supported the Project Libra
racing team during the globally recognized Shell and Pennzoil
Houston Grand Prix. The company recently added another Radical
track car to its advertising portfolio, which is enjoying immediate
success. In recent months, the RWB Vodka Radical SR3-RS car won the
Prototype 2 Class race in the Abominable at the year-ending Sports
Car Club of America race in Houston, and secured a second-place
finish during the NASA OctoberFast at the Historic Texas World
Speedway.
To expand the reach of the brand, RWB Vodka recently became the
exclusive sponsor of fast-rising country music recording artist
Curtis Braly. Almost immediately upon joining the ASCC stable of
talent, Curtis signed with a Nashville record label and soon
thereafter was named the International Music and Entertainment
Association (IMEA) Country Male Artist of the Year. RWB Vodka also
enjoyed increased visibility during his extensive tour of the
Southern U.S.
The first year of RWB Vodka’s entry into the market also allowed
us to grow the distribution side of our business. Top Shelf
Distributing, being a licensed wholesaler for the State of Texas,
initially relied on the expertise and connections of another
established wholesaler to spearhead its entry into the on-premise
and off-premise market. Within weeks, RWB Vodka was being
distributed by one of the largest distribution chains in the United
States, Spec’s Liquor. Late in 2014, we made the decision to take
over the distribution of RWB Vodka with the goal to develop the
infrastructure to accept other beverages for warehousing and
distribution. Not only will this allow us to grow this profit
center but it also gives our expert sales team much more control
over the expansion of the on-premise and off-premise locations. RWB
Vodka is currently available in over 100 locations in Houston,
Austin and Dallas. With our rapid growth through Texas comes
increased sales volume — we are currently experiencing a monthly
sales growth exceeding 30 percent.
In September, the Aristocrat Group finalized a $5 million
financing agreement which will ensure that we can go forward with
our business plan, which includes our innovative brand-building
efforts as we implement our aggressive growth strategy.
With the momentum offered by the continued success of RWB Vodka,
and the planned launch of our second brand in the first quarter of
2015, the future of Aristocrat Group and its subsidiaries looks
bright as we expand our footprint in the domestic and international
spirits markets.
Sincerely,
Robert FederowiczPresident and CEO
