1230 GMT - DHL parent Deutsche Post is among the most mentioned companies across news items over the past six hours, according to Factiva data. The German logistics group, which is also known as DHL Group, said it still sees uncertainty when it comes to its prospects for the second half, but raised the bottom end of its full-year earnings guidance. It now expects earnings before interest and taxes for 2023 to be in a range of 6.2 billion euros to 7.0 billion euros ($6.82 billion-$7.70 billion), against its previous projection of EUR6.0 billion to EUR7.0 billion. "We will have to see if there is a more dynamic development in the second half of the year. In such a scenario, we still think that around [EUR7 billion] in EBIT should be achievable," Deutsche Post Chief Financial Officer Melanie Kreis said during an earnings call. If no recovery materializes, the company's EBIT would be around EUR6.2 billion, Kreis said. Dow Jones & Co. owns Factiva. (adria.calatayud@dowjones.com)
