Diamond Discoveries Reports a New Chromium Discovery on Caribou Property, Thetford Mines, Quebec

NEW YORK, NY, Jan. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Diamond Discoveries
International Corp. (OTCBB: DMDD), a U.S. company focusing on
diamonds, precious and base metal exploration in the Canadian
province of Quebec, is pleased to announce that it has received all
results from the exploration work completed in the 2008 field
season, on their 100% owned Caribou Property near Thetford Mines.
The results have confirmed the presence of high chromium (Cr2O3)
mineralization and a new discovery of chromite referred to as the
(Bil Showing). As per the news release of November 18th
/2008,six(6) samples from the American Chrome Junior Showing
returned high chromium values with composite assays of 10.72% Cr2O3
over 5 meters and .4g/t PGE (Platinum, Palladium and Rhodium). This
composite included a 1 meter grading of 21.47% of Cr2O3 and .5g/t
PGE. Diamond Discoveries undertook channel sampling (1 meter wide)
on the new Bil Showing of which five (5) samples from the new
showing returned up to 9.8% Cr2O3 over 1 meter with traces of PGE.
The pyroxenite rock, that hosts the main mineralized zone, is part
of the Thetford Mines ophiolitic complex which is well known for
its chromium potential. Following the results from the channel
sampling further work will be completed on these zones including
drilling. All samples (51) from the 2008 campaign were assayed in
the ALS Laboratory Group from Val d'Or, Quebec. The technical
