I bought a new SPAC today that just started trading yesterday - just 2 starters in 2 accounts JIC, I didn't wanna miss a runner and I can always add if it does eventually drop. I posted it on MMM's board.

I got overly excited when it turned Grey to Pink CURRENT.

Got caught in the bidding war on day one.

Lesson learned.

Could have been a lot worse actually. Glad I didn't buy a whole lot more.

Where did you get in?

This is best at .0001 and set sell at .002 for quick turn or .004 for a longer hold for double the payout. Then set up to buy back in and wait for next run.

It traded 19 mil today so tomorrow may bring more smiles to my face.

Last thing...

I still do not understand why GBRIF is listed as Pink Current Information.

It just went Grey to Pink a few days ago. One would assume it was actually looked at before they listed it again.

I think all of the other G2P tickers — including F tickers — have come back as Pink No Info. Here is a good example:

It's just bizarre.

I have heard that this mistake has been made before and it was eventually corrected. That's probably what is happening here.

It looks and sounds to me that Golden Band went BK and was purchased by Procon Resources Inc.

What does that mean for this ticker and our shares?

I honestly have no idea.

I tried calling Proton and Paul Saxton (see above) but did not get an answer at either place.

May circle back at some point and do some more DD. Might be a while since I have so many new ones. If anyone better understands these filings all information is welcome.

When I saw it was Pink Current I figured it would easily go over a penny.

I do see two offers on L2 that are in dollars, so it's looking thin at present.

Seems quite a few gold companies are down lately!

I believe it means the highest standard for companies in the OTC market. It's for companies who have excellent reporting status, financial reporting.

They have as of January 2012, 284,717,355 outstanding shares and being fully diluted at 345,532,571. Not too bad for a company producing gold.

Cash flow from operations for Q2 2012 was 8.9 million. Q2 2012 20.7 million on sales of 11,870 gold ounces, an average selling price of $1,731/oz. cash cost per ounce $900. This is all expected to increase per quarter, hopefully reaching their goal of gold production of 325,000 a year.

Their goal according to their website is to produce up to 325,000 of gold in 1 to 5 years. Ramping up to 70,000 to 100,000 ounces a year with a permitted 400 tonnes per day gold mill that is in place.
