Ceconomy AG (CEC.XE) said Friday that its subsidiary Media-Saturn-Holding is in talks with M.Video (MVID.MZ) about a potential disposal of Media-Saturn-Group's Russian retail business and a concurrent acquisition of a minority stake in M.Video by a Media-Saturn-Group company.

The company said it hasn't yet made a decision about whether the transaction will be pursued. The conditions of any transaction aren't certain at the moment, it said.

Ceconomy, which was responding to media speculation, said it will keep the market and the public informed about the progress of this issue.
