The National Capital Bank of Washington (NCB) is pleased to announce that it received the Hilly Award for Professional Service of the Year at the 3rd Annual Hilly Awards on Sunday, November 13. This is the second consecutive year that NCB has been recognized as a leader in the community. In 2010 the Bank was voted best Community Services organization.

Each year, the Hilly Awards honor the best in business and commerce in the Washington D.C. area. Over 2,100 initial nominations were received in 12 categories, with Capitol Hill residents voting for their favorites over a two month period.

“We’re honored to receive this recognition,” said Richard A. Didden, Chairman and CEO of the bank. “A Hilly Award epitomizes our corporate philosophy because it is based on votes from the individuals we serve on Capitol Hill.”

The award ceremony was held at the Atlas Performing Arts Center and produced by CHAMPS – Capitol Hill’s Chamber of Commerce. Attendees were given the red carpet treatment and enjoyed a post-production celebration following the award ceremony.
