CFO was indicted for embezzlement by a Dinwiddie County grand jury on April 21, 2015. The alleged embezzlement was
discovered by Bank of McKenney
controls. Not by auditors. Not by regulators. All funds
taken; including the cost by outside firms to determine the scope,
have been paid in full. The incident was reported to federal and
state authorities as required by law. No customer account was ever
affected and at no time was the Bank's safety and soundness ever
compromised.
