                             Director Shareholding


Celsis International plc ("Celsis" or "the Company") was notified yesterday that
Dr Jack Rowell (Non-Executive Chairman) has indirectly acquired 100,000 ordinary
shares of 1p each in the Company at a price of 31p per share.   The shares were
acquired by Turleigh Limited, a company controlled by Dr Rowell's family. The
shares acquired represent Dr Rowell's total interest in the share capital of
Celsis.
