CSX Coal Train Partially Derails in Maryland, Killing 2 -Reports

A CSX Corp. (CSX) train carrying coal partially derailed in
Ellicott City, Md., early Tuesday, killing two people, according to
local media reports.
Twenty-one cars of the 81-car train had derailed or overturned,
the Baltimore Sun reported on its website. The derailment is the
third accident by the rail carrier this month in Maryland.
The Associated Press reported that the two people killed were
not railroad employees. Their identities have not been
released.
