                TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF TRADING OF 'CUXa' SHARES

Centurion Energy International Inc ("Centurion" or "the Corporation") has
requested AIM to suspend trading in the 1,515,151 restricted common shares
issued pursuant to the UK placing announced on 25 August 2004 ("the UK Placing
Shares"). The UK Placing Shares have the ISIN 'CA 1559052016' and trade under
the symbol 'CUXa' and are suspended with immediate effect as a precautionary
measure in order to resolve administrative issues relating to electronic
settlement of the shares in CREST. The Corporation is working with its advisers
to ensure that these issues are resolved at the earliest possible opportunity.

All of Centurion's common issued share capital, with the exception only of the
UK Placing Shares, will continue to trade and settle normally. For the avoidance
of doubt, the Company's tradeable common shares have the ISIN 'CA 1559051026'
and trade under the symbol 'CUX'.
