notified  yesterday, 12 January 2000, that the  following
Directors  disposed  of  a total  of  1,150,000  Ordinary
Shares representing 3.17 per cent of the Company's issued
Ordinary  Share  Capital at a price of 645  pence  on  12
January 2000:
