Treasury shares

On 2 December 2016, the Company transferred a total of 7,278 ordinary shares at GBP2.72 per share to participants in its 2013 Sharesave Scheme and 6,298 ordinary shares at a total exercise cost of GBP2.00 to participants in the ICAP plc Senior Executive Equity Participation Plan. These shares were previously held as treasury shares.

Following the above transactions, the Company holds 11,858,650 ordinary shares in treasury, and has 652,678,356 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
