Appointment of Non-Executive Director and Chair of Remuneration
Committee
SIG plc ("SIG", "the Group" or "the Company") , a leading
supplier of specialist building solutions to trade customers across
Europe, is pleased to announce the appointment of Kath Durrant as a
Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee with
effect from 1 January 2021. Kath will replace Kate Allum who will
be stepping down as Non-Executive Director and Chair of the
Remuneration Committee with effect from 31 December 2020.
Kath is currently Non-Executive Director and Chair of the
Remuneration Committee at Calisen plc, a Non-Executive Director at
Vesuvius plc (and will become Chair of the Remuneration Committee
from its 2021 AGM) and is an adviser to InnovationRCA. She
previously served as a Non-executive Director and Chair of the
Remuneration Committee of Renishaw plc from 2015 to 2018.
Kath has more than 30 years' Human Resources experience, with a
strong operational and strategic track record, gained at a number
of large global industrial and pharmaceutical companies. As well as
working at GlaxoSmithKline plc and AstraZeneca plc she served as
the Group Human Resources Director at Rolls-Royce plc and Ferguson
plc and until 2019 was Chief HR Officer at CRH plc.
