Moog Celebrates First Flight of 787 Dreamliner

EAST AURORA, N.Y., Dec. 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Boeing
Company completed its 787 Dreamliner maiden flight in Seattle, WA
on December 15th. Moog's flight control actuation system positioned
the aircraft's flight surfaces in response to pilot commands. The
Moog system controls all of the primary flight surfaces including
ailerons, flaperons, elevators, rudder, flight spoilers and
horizontal stabilizer. Moog also supplies the complete high lift
system, which controls the leading edge slats and trailing edge
flaps. "First flight represents a significant milestone in any
