Directorate Change
CVS, the UK listed veterinary group and a leading provider of
veterinary services, announces that its Chair Richard Connell has
taken the difficult decision to resign with immediate effect due to
ill health .
Deborah Kemp, the Group's Senior Independent Director will
assume the role of Chair for the interim period whilst the Board
commences a process to appoint a permanent successor.
The Board will make a further announcement at the appropriate
time.
CEO Richard Fairman commented: "On behalf of the Board and
colleagues at CVS, I would like to thank Richard for his
significant contribution during his tenure as Chair and for his
support to me personally. Richard has played a pivotal role in
overseeing considerable growth in the Group over the past 16 years
and will be sorely missed. We wish Richard a full and speedy
recovery."
