Metacade, the best place to
play, build, connect and earn onchain, is set to launch ten new
games on Telegram, targeting the platform’s 950 million users. The
launch comes at a time when interest in casual and mobile games is
poised to spike, as research conducted by Metacade reveals Google
search volumes for these games increase on average by 80% each
September when people return to work after the summer holidays.
The launch includes popular casual
games like Pet Hop, Bubble Invasion, Fruit Slice Frenzy, Bird Bump,
Mountain Hop, Atlantic Sky Hop, Leave Me Alone, Karate Chop Kick,
Surfing Hero, and Wordler. All games will be accessible on both
desktop and mobile devices, positioning Metacade to tap into the
growing audience of casual gamers on Telegram.
Rockstar Games co-founder and Metacade Advisor, Jamie
King, said, “Unlike other Telegram tap-to-play games, every minute
you play one of our games you’re earning Tournament credits for
free, that can be used on Metacade Tournaments. We believe this is
unique along with the introduction of cross-platform compatibility,
essentially players can play on mobile and compete against PC
users. We’ve not really seen this in the Web3 gaming space and we
are really excited to enable players to compete in the way they are
most comfortable.”
Metacade’s entrance into Telegram is
set to meet the seasonal rise in demand for casual gaming, offering
users an engaging way to pass time during their commute or work
breaks, and marking a significant step in the platform's ongoing
expansion.
Russell Bennett, CEO of Metacade, commenting on its
potential as a hub for casual gaming said, “We've already seen
promising results with projects like Shockwaves, which launched a
standout game on Telegram that breaks away from the usual
farming-style offerings. If hyper-casual games keep gaining
traction on Telegram and token integration deepens, Metacade and
other platforms will undoubtedly experience successes using the
platform for future releases."
Bennett believes that integrating games into Telegram
is a game-changer, positioning the app as a "super-app" that
seamlessly blends gaming, investing, and content. "Telegram has a
real shot at dominating the all-in-one app space," Bennett noted.
"Launching on Telegram is just the start for Metacade, and we’re
excited to connect with its vast user base as we look to scale our
growth."
