Router Protocol, a leading
cross-chain solutions provider in crypto, announces an integration
with the highly performant layer 1 blockchain and decentralized
exchange (DEX) Hyperliquid, to enable cross-chain deposits to over
30 EVM and non-EVM chains including Solana, Sui, Tron, Base, and
Ethereum.
With this integration, Router Nitro becomes the first bridge to
enable single-interface deposits to Hyperliquid. This eliminates
the need for the current two-step process, which involves
transferring assets to Arbitrium and then to Hyperliquid.
Router Nitro x Hyperliquid
Hyperliquid has experienced a rise over the last six months,
generating over $1 billion in net stablecoin inflows and over $3
billion in total value locked (TVL) since its token launch. Its
deposit bridge also holds over $2 billion worth of
stablecoins.
More recently, it launched native staking, allowing token
holders to stake and accrue yield on their HYPE tokens across 16
validators. At launch, Hyperliquid staked 300 million tokens,
approximately $8.4 billion, and users added another 7 million
tokens in the first hour.
Hyperliquid is building an ecosystem to house all finance,
starting with its flagship DEX, which is notable for low fees, high
leverage, one-click trading with no wallet approvals, and
more.
However, depositing into Hyperliquid can be tedious. It requires
a two-step process: Users first transfer funds from their source
chain into Arbitrum and then sign a transaction on Arbitrum to
deposit them into Hyperliquid.
With Router Nitro's latest integration, users can seamlessly
deposit funds directly into Hyperliquid from over 30 major
blockchains. Additionally, Router has secured the $ROUTE ticker for
listing, making it one of the first Layer-1 interoperability
projects to become tradeable on Hyperliquid.
This integration adds significant value to the Hyperliquid
ecosystem. Fees generated for bridging to Hyperliquid will be used
to buy back $ROUTE on Hyperliquid, boosting trading volumes on the
platform.
Moreover, the partnership with top validator Hyperbeat
introduces the potential for Hyperbeat stakers to receive
additional $ROUTE rewards from these buybacks, offering
participants the possibility of enhanced incentives.
Router Nitro is one of the fastest, cheapest, and safest bridges
in crypto, as evident from its impressive year. In the last year,
Nitro has achieved industry-leading metrics, such as over 1.5
million cross-chain transactions, over $1 billion in total trading
volume, over 1,700 different assets bridged, and more than 500,000
unique users.
What To Expect From The Integration
- Cross-chain Asset Transfers: Router Nitro
facilitates direct deposits into Hyperliquid at low costs and high
speeds across major EVM and non-EVM chains, such as Solana, Tron,
and SUI.
- $ROUTE & HyperBeat: As part of a
partnership with HyperBeat, Nitro fees from Hyperliquid
transactions will be used to buy back $ROUTE tokens from which a
certain percentage will be distributed to HyperBeat stakers as
additional yield.
- $ROUTE Trading: Once the HyperEVM mainnet goes
live, $ROUTE trading will be available, allowing users to
seamlessly trade $ROUTE on Hyperliquid.
- Omnichain Tokens: Leveraging Router’s
comprehensive interoperability infrastructure, existing projects
can seamlessly make their token omnichain, opening the door for
many more existing projects to list on Hyperliquid. Router’s infra
enables omnichain tokens from over 30 major networks including
Ethereum, Solana, Sui, Tron, and various L2s. Additionally, Router
will empower native Hyperliquid projects to expand their reach by
taking their tokens to other chains, attracting traders from across
different ecosystems.
- Chain abstracted dApps: Router makes it easy
for dApps on Hyperliquid to provide a smooth, chain-agnostic
experience for their users. With Router’s intent adapters, users
can interact with Hyperliquid from any blockchain, simplifying the
process of getting started. Things such as one-click staking from
any chain would be possible using the Router’s infra. Hyperliquid
dApps can also seamlessly integrate Router Nitro to attract
liquidity from the 30+ connected network
- HyperEVM Testnet Support: Router Nitro
supports the HyperEVM Testnet, allowing users to transfer assets
from Sepholia, Arbitrum Sepholia, Fuji, Amoy, Berachain testnet,
and many more. Users can also stake their testnet tokens with
various validators on the HyperEVM, which will be integrated into
Nitro Mainnet once the HyperEVM mainnet goes live.
About Router Protocol
Router Protocol is a chain abstraction protocol
empowering developers to build a suite of intent-based products to
achieve seamless cross-chain transfers and messaging in a secure,
decentralized & permissionless environment.
By providing stateful bridging,
advanced security measures, and a comprehensive cross-chain intent
framework, Router Protocol is working to shape the future of
decentralized applications.
Backed by investors including Coinbase
Ventures, QCP, De-Fi Capital, Wintermute, and Polygon, Router
Protocol's mission is to increase Web3 adoption by solving existing
problems in cross-blockchain communications, such as security,
scalability, decentralization, and the lack of cross-chain dApps.
Router Protocol's product suite includes Router Chain, a PoS Layer
1 solution leveraging Tendermint’s BFT, compatible with EVM and
other VMs for ultimate chain abstraction. Router Nitro, an
ultra-low latency bridge, supports cross-chain swaps on 30+
blockchains, enabling efficient cross-chain asset transfers. Router
CCIF provides a plug-and-play infrastructure that simplifies
cross-chain functionality for dApps, streamlining cross-chain
intents.
