The iExec Confidential AI Framework
Today, iExec unveils new use
cases as part of its Confidential AI
Framework, enhancing privacy and allowing for monetization
across the AI pipeline. This framework combines blockchain,
decentralized confidential computing, and Intel TDX Trusted
Execution Environments (TEEs) to safeguard data and models during
processing. In addition to launching a series of AI use cases,
starting with a privacy-preserving image description matcher, iExec
is releasing new AI developer tools and providing access to TEE
GPUs for advanced confidential AI applications. This marks an
evolution of iExec's AI innovations, building on early proofs of
concept since 2019 now encapsulated in the "AiExec" initiative.
A Series of Confidential AI Use Cases: From Image
Description Matchers to AI Agents
iExec has released the first of many innovative
privacy-preserving AI use cases—starting with an Image Description
Matcher. This tool allows developers to integrate AI that verifies
protected content matches its description without exposing the
data, ensuring asset value and turning trust into a selling point.
More use cases like the Confidential Image Generator and AI Agent
protocols are set to expand the scope and capability of iExec’s
Confidential AI Framework.
iExec at the Forefront of the Global AI
Race
iExec recently implemented DeepSeek R1
running Intel TDX Workerpools demonstrating how LLMs can be
processed within GPU-trusted execution environments (TEEs),
enhancing both the privacy and reliability of AI applications
handling sensitive data.
These announcements come at a pivotal moment, coinciding with
the recent AI Action Summit in France, where world leaders debated
crucial issues like governance, trust, and regulation, where the
announcement of France’s €109 billion investment into AI
underscores the strategic significance of iExec's headquarters in
France, positioning the company at the forefront of advancing trust
and privacy in the global AI race.
