The U.K. Competition and Markets Authority said Wednesday that it won't refer the merger of CME Group Inc. (CME) and NEX Group PLC (NXG.LN) to a phase-two investigation under British legislation.

Financial tech company NEX Group said it is pleased to have received clearance from the monopoly watchdog and that all regulatory and antitrust approvals have now been satisfied.
