Through “Trade and Technology Empowerment
for the Earthquake Region” program, Hepsiburada Contributed to a TRY 1.9 Billion Trade Volume in the Region
ISTANBUL, October 5, 2023 - D-MARKET Electronic
Services & Trading (d/b/a “Hepsiburada”) (NASDAQ: HEPS), a leading Turkish e-commerce platform (referred to herein as
“Hepsiburada” or the “Company”), announces the six months results of the “Trade and Technology Empowerment
for the Earthquake Region” program for the period from March 6, 2023 to September 30, 2023.
Since the program’s launch in March 2023:
| · | The total number of active merchants operating
in the earthquake region has reached 15,000, with 1,700 new businesses selling their products online through Hepsiburada. |
| · | Active sellers in the earthquake region sold
a total of 4.7 million products, generating a trade volume exceeding TRY 1.9 billion. |
| · | The trade volume generated by 2,980 women entrepreneurs
and women’s cooperatives reached TRY 124 million. |
| · | The E-Commerce Specialization Center in Adana,
which opened in July, 2023, has facilitated support on the ground for existing merchants while in parallel organizing training courses
and programs for those who are new to the e-commerce market. |
| · | Over a thousand merchants have benefitted from
the training courses. |
| · | The Company has reached more than 3,500 children
in the region through the program’s social responsibility activities. |
| · | Hepsiburada has helped boost sales for merchants
by offering digital marketing support to the merchants, resulting in a 27% increase in orders compared to the period before the launch
of the program. |
The program is expected to last for two years.
