Visteon Chief Information Officer Lorie Buckingham Wins 'Top Michigan Women in Computing' Award VAN BUREN TOWNSHIP, Mich., Nov. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Lorie Buckingham, senior vice president and chief information officer for Visteon Corporation (NYSE:VC), has been named a winner of the "Top Michigan Women in Computing" award for 2004. The award, given by the Association for Women in Computing - Ann Arbor Chapter (AWC-AA), recognized Buckingham and nine other winners as being "the best and brightest among the many outstanding Michigan women in IT." Buckingham and the other winners received their awards at the AWC-AA Gala ceremony at the Fairlane Club in Dearborn, Mich. on Nov. 6. Prior to Union Carbide, Buckingham was chief information officer for Zonetrader.com, a Chicago-based provider of asset end-of-life-cycle management services. She rapidly developed sophisticated e-commerce solutions along with core processing on SAP to meet customer commitments. Buckingham has a bachelor's degree in mathematics and chemistry from the State University of New York at Potsdam.
