U.S.-based investment company BlackRock Inc. (BLK) increased its stake in French entertainment-to-telecom company Vivendi SA (VIV.FR) to above 5%, according to a filing Monday with French market regulator Autorite des Marches Financiers.

Following the purchase of Vivendi shares in the market, BlackRock owns 5.02% in the company.
