In connection with meetings and presentations at an industry conference beginning on January 27, 2025, Stepan Company (the “Company”) provided an update on the construction of its new alkoxylation facility in Pasadena, Texas. Due to unforeseen delays, the Company now expects the startup of the facility to occur in the first quarter of 2025. The Company plans to provide additional detail regarding the expected startup of the facility during the Company's forthcoming fourth quarter and full year 2024 earnings call.
