Telecom Italia SpA (TIT.MI) said Friday that the former chairman and chief executive of its Sparkle cable unit, Alessandro Talotta, has left the group.

Mr. Talotta stepped down as chairman and chief executive of Sparkle on April 5, after Sparkle's board of directors appointed Stefano Siragusa as chairman and Riccardo Delleani as chief executive, Telecom Italia said.

Mr. Talotta doesn't hold shares in Telecom Italia, it added.
