Initially, Piedmont will offer customers two warranty services: a home natural gas piping warranty service and a water heater repair and replacement warranty service, each for a flat monthly fee. Service work will be provided through a preferred network of contractors in association with Home Service, a leading national provider of home repair solutions. Piedmont's new warranty service options will be available to customers beginning in January, 2010.
