MPI Mpvc (Tier2)

Seriatim Ventures Inc. ("Seriatim" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:STV.P)
announces that it has terminated its letter of intent respecting a proposed
merger with Mountain Power Inc. ("MPI"), a privately-owned, Delta, B.C. based
producer of large capacity lithium-ion battery management systems for high power
and energy applications, in accordance with its terms. As a result of the
termination of the agreement, Seriatim will seek the return of the $225,000
refundable advance provided to MPI in accordance with the agreement.


Seriatim will continue to seek potential asset or share transactions for the
purposes of completing its Qualifying Transaction pursuant to Policy 2.3 of the
TSX Venture Exchange.
