             Celsis International plc ("Celsis" or the "Company")

Following today's press speculation concerning the appointment of advisers to
sell the Company, the Board of Celsis confirms that it has decided to pursue a
review of strategic options, including a possible sale of the Company or a
division, and that PwC Corporate Finance and WestLB Panmure are assisting the
Company in carrying out this review. This review is at a very early stage.

A further announcement will be made in due course.
