DIRECTORS' SHAREHOLDINGS



Pennon Group Plc today announced that options over 490,931 Ordinary shares
exerciseable at 530p per share were granted on 8 July 2003 in accordance with
the Company's Sharesave Scheme.  The options will be exerciseable normally
between 2006 and 2010.



Included within the above figure, options over 1,047 shares were granted to Mr R
J Baty and options over 1,745 shares were granted to Mr C I J H Drummond.
Messrs Baty and Drummond are Directors of the Company.
