CMC Telecom, a Vietnamese information and communication technology firm, and Akamai, a US-based network service provider have signed a cooperation agreement with BCNEX to help prevent DDoS attacks.
Preventing Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) Attacks
Hackers have never stopped doing what they do best as is the case with the DDoS attacks. Security has always been an issue for several trading floors across the globe which has led even to the closing of some.
Therefore, to ensure security, CMC Telecom and Akamai have agreed to provide BCNEX with CND-related services and solutions in order to prevent DDoS attacks. According to BCNEX co-founder and CEO Ngo Hoang Quyen, maintaining an efficient as well as a stable system for any trading floor or e-commerce, in general, is the minimum requirement.
The cooperation is seen as just one of a plethora of other digital content services that will follow in the future. Besides, Quyen is confident that the experience will now be massive for its users.
The services are said to be ready for BCNEX at the beginning of May this year. The director of the Value-Added Business Center of CMC Telecom, Le Anh Vu noted that they have partnered with Akamai since 2015 and they consulted BCNEX only for threes before they signed the ceremony.
Other Benefits Attached
BCNEX is basically a technology startup providing support services for several startup projects that involve blockchain in Vietnam. Its blockchain platform enables the investors as well as contributors in various countries to exchange coins or token of different blockchain or crypto-related projects.
Therefore, the services from CMC Telecom and Akamai will help BCNEX save costs, resources, research and security solutions as well as infrastructure for system installation. Moreover, its users will have a safe experience and fast services.
BCNEX finished a funding round in March whereby it secured US$1 million which were obtained from undisclosed investors. The second round is said to be from international investors. Nevertheless, the agreement is a big step forward for BCNEX which is the only way forward for trading floors to stay away from hackers and DDoS attacks.
