Amaroq Minerals Ltd. (LSE:AMRQ) has shared significant updates regarding its 2024 exploration activities within its strategic minerals portfolio under the joint venture with Gardaq AS. The company has completed a comprehensive exploration program across seven licenses, which involved geological reconnaissance, mapping, geochemical sampling, and core drilling. As part of this initiative, Amaroq has advanced its geological understanding of critical metals in South Greenland, resulting in the submission of three additional license applications.
The appointment of Dr. Steve Garwin as Chief Technical Advisor is expected to strengthen the company’s exploration strategy moving forward. Among the highlights of the exploration work, Amaroq has identified new porphyry and epithermal systems, discovered a cobalt-rich nickel-copper target at Stendalen, and achieved promising early results at the Ukaleq project. These findings underscore the significant potential of South Greenland as a mining region, positioning Amaroq for further exploration and growth in 2025.
