UK BRC shop price index fell in June
In the UK, the BRC shop price index dropped 0.30% in June on a YoY basis. The BRC shop price index had recorded a drop of 0.40% in the prior month.
UK construction PMI dropped in June
The construction PMI registered a drop to 54.80 in the UK, in June, compared to market expectations of a fall to 55.00. The construction PMI had recorded a reading of 56.00 in the previous month.
Euro-zone PPI declined more than expected in May
The producer price index (PPI) slid 0.40% in the Eurozone on a monthly basis in May, more than market expectations for a drop of 0.20%. The PPI had recorded an unchanged reading in the prior month.
Number of people unemployed in Spain declined in June
Number of people unemployed in Spain registered a drop of 98.30 K in June, compared to a loss of 111.90 K in the prior month. Market anticipation was for number of people unemployed to drop 114.90 K.
Japanese Nikkei services PMI rose in June
In Japan, the Nikkei services PMI index rose to 53.30 In June, compared to a level of 53.00 in the prior month.
Japanese Markit composite PMI declined in June
In Japan, Markit composite PMI recorded a drop to 52.90 in June, compared to a level of 53.40 in the prior month.
Chinese Caixin/Markit services PMI index fell in June
In June, the Caixin/Markit services PMI index in China dropped to 51.60, compared to a level of 52.80 in the prior month.
Chinese Caixin composite PMI declined in June
In June, the Caixin composite PMI dropped to 51.10 in China, compared to a level of 51.50 in the previous month.
