German IFO business expectations index dropped in September
In Germany, the IFO business expectations index recorded a drop to a level of 101.00 in September, compared to a revised reading of 101.30 in the previous month. Market expectation was for the index to ease to a level of 100.50.
German IFO business climate index declined in September
In Germany, the IFO business climate index recorded a drop to a level of 103.70 in September, higher than market expectations of a drop to a reading of 103.20. The index had recorded a revised level of 103.90 in the prior month.
German IFO current assessment index declined in September
the IFO current assessment index in Germany recorded a drop to a level of 106.40 in September, higher than market expectations of a drop to a reading of 106.00. In the prior month, the index had registered a revised reading of 106.50.
US Dallas Fed manufacturing business index surprisingly fell in September
The Dallas Fed manufacturing business index in the US recorded an unexpected drop to a level of 28.10 in September, compared to market expectations of an advance to a level of 31.00. The index had registered a reading of 30.90 in the previous month.
US Chicago Fed national activity index remained unchanged in August
In the US, the Chicago Fed national activity index remained steady at 0.18 in August, compared to market expectations of a rise to a reading of 0.20.
