US housing market index surprisingly declined in November
In the US, the housing market index recorded an unexpected drop to a level of 70.00 in November, compared to market expectations of a steady reading. In the prior month, the had registered to a level of 71.00.
RBA Minutes: Policymakers consider further easing of monetary policy
Minutes of the Reserve Bank of Australia’s (RBA) November meeting indicated that the central bank is considering easing monetary policy for the fourth time this year, to support economic growth, full employment and meet its inflation targets. Further, the Board decided to examine the impact of the prior three cuts delivered since June, leaving room for the possibility for the further move if required.
