US mortgage applications rose in the last week
In the US, mortgage applications advanced 1.50% on a weekly basis in the week ended 21 February 2020. Mortgage applications had fallen 6.40% in the previous week.
US new home sales climbed in January
In the US, new home sales climbed to a level of 764.00 K on a MoM basis in January, compared to market expectations of 710.00 K. In the prior month, new home sales had registered a revised reading of 708.00 K.
New Zealand business confidence index declined in February
In New Zealand, the business confidence index dropped to -19.40% in February. In the previous month, the index had recorded a reading of -13.20%.
